Synopsis
Admit it, you shrug off any impulse to watch a flick where two attractive characters meet, instantly despise one another, then find common ground and fall in love. But it's time you channel your softer side to see what you've been missing! Renee Zellweger stars as a materialistic corporate player from Miami who's sent to a small, Minnesota town in the dead of winter to deal with a local factory. Instantly she's a (frozen) fish out of water, confronting challenges from the weather, the workers and a union leader played by Harry Connick, Jr. Sure, the story is predictable in places (as any quality rom-com tends to be), but the characters are so charming you'll find yourself smiling in all the right places. And if you get a little misty-eyed, we promise not to tell your buds.
